Cisalfa Sport s.p.a. launches new online shop with Keros Digital
Cisalfa Sport Spa, leader in the sportswear retail industry, has launched its new online shop. The new website offers an easy and a very innovative shopping experience: an online shop with a definitely more appeal.
For this improvement, Cisalfa Sport S.P.A. chose Keros Digital in order to find solutions to some challenges the business was having.
One of these challenges, the distribution network of Cisalfa Sport S.P.A., which is complexed, required a solution that will enable it to fulfil the increase number of orders in an efficient way.
The business receives orders from various locations and the inventory is stored in two major warehouses and a large network of stores. Thus requiring an intelligent Order Management System to optimise shipping costs and fulfil the orders more efficiently.
In addition, due to the fact of Cisalfa Sort S.P.A. being a multi brand retailer, there was a need to improve the catalogue management, particularly due to its size and the variety of items.
Although the goals were challenging, they were perfectly matched by Keros’ Order Management System (K-OMS), which is designed to meet various needs including providing various order fulfilment methods (for example fulfilment from stores).
The new solution uses Cisalfa Sport’s two central warehouses and the main point of sales as shipping hubs, coordinating both to process orders in a an efficient and effective way. Orders are assigned according to pre-set and precise rules, which keep logistics cost lower and ensure the customers get their orders quicker.
Keros’ platform has been built with an Omni channel logic that enables the customer to shop online and choose either a home delivery or to collect the goods from one of Cisalfa Sport’s 140 stores. Customers are also able to return the order either to the warehouse or to one of the stores.
Keros provided Cisalfa Sport S.P.A. with an excellent project management which guaranteed that after a short period of time, Cisalfa’s eCommerce team was able to control all orders, catalogues and returns from one interface, empowering the retail team to fulfil the orders and serve the customers in stores.
