Lumene is an international manufacturer of skincare and cosmetics products. Based in Finland, Lumene’s products are inspired by Arctic nature and sourced from organic wetlands and pure natural reservoirs.
Until a few years ago, Lumene derived its revenues mainly from wholesale sales in Scandinavia, Russia and the United States. In 20XX, Lumene decided to approach consumers directly by launching an online e-commerce store. To achieve this, Lumene needed to quickly implement a comprehensive technology framework for an integrated digital shopping experience.

A systems integrator took on the responsibility of managing the Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementation, while Keros Digital’s developers and architects handled the integration between K-OMS and Lumene’s warehouses. K-OMS’ flexible and modular architecture made it easy to adapt the standard K-OMS process flows to the specific requirements of Lumene and its warehouse partner. The entire implementation process took a relatively short time of 5 months.
Within 3 months of launch, Lumene was serving customers in XX countries and averaging XX GMV through its online store. The entire post-checkout process is automated, with K-OMS orchestrating the management of the order through the various stages of invoicing, warehouse notification, shipping and return management.
Store managers are able to quickly and efficiently update product catalogues in multiple languages. Finance managers benefit from integrated tools to calculate and generate invoices, credit notes, VAT and intrastat documentation using country-specific rules. Overall efficiency and productivity is higher, as K-OMS’ built-in intelligence and rules systems removes the complexity of order fulfilment across multiple warehouse locations.
