Distributed Order Management
Optimize order fulfilment across multiple inventory sources, locations and partners.
100% of the capital of Keros Digital has been acquired by the Luxembourg fund Digital Native Capital, and Polo Digitale, a holding company in Reggio Emilia.
Founded by Leonardo Pecchioli in 2014 in Lugano, Keros Digital is active in the development and distribution of technologies for e-commerce from an international and omnichannel point of view. In particular, the Distributed Order Management System software, developed by the company, offers solutions to simplify and optimize the management of e-commerce orders, distribution, payments and related tax obligations.
The deal provides for the purchase of Keros Digital and a substantial contribution of financial resources, aimed at supporting its development. “We are a solid reality, operating for ten years with over 80 employees, but we are not yet satisfied with what we have achieved and we want to continue growing - commented Nicola Boni, CEO of Polo Digitale -. The choice to invest in an e-commerce platform represented a path for us and we were lucky to meet Keros and his management”.
Nicola Boni also underlines that “Keros is now a paramount platform in advanced e-commerce projects. It has significant and well-known clients, such as Benetton, TwinSet and Cisalfa, as well as the City of Lugano, elements that convinced us to undertake the investment together with Digital Native Capital. A fundamental aspect is an international vision, which we were aiming for in order to increase our business portfolio”.
“This is a milestone for Keros - says Marcello Nesta, general partner of Digital Native Capital and interim CEO of the Lugano company -. An operation that does not represent a point of arrival, but a new departure towards very challenging international goals. The work team we are building in Keros boasts complementary backgrounds and skills, with profiles of professionals all aligned with the aim of creating value for corporate stakeholders”.
"As a financial partner - he continues - we have chosen to work with Polo Digitale, because we are deeply convinced of the technological potential of Keros Digital in the field of Distributed Order Management".
The new Keros course will focus on the expansion of strategic partnerships with companies in the cloud and systems integration, so as to further develop the Distributed Order Management platform with additional features. The founder Leonardo Pecchioli, as chairman of the board of directors of the parent company Four Factory International, will ensure the transition towards the achievement of the strategic plan.
“Digital Native Capital and Polo Digitale of Reggio Emilia are complementary and consolidated players in their investment initiatives - observes Pecchioli -. Thanks to their support and the entry of new capital, I am sure that Keros will be able to best express its growth potential”.
