Cisalfa Sport is an Italian retailer distributing multi-brand sports
accessories, apparel and equipment within a large network of stores.
As the inventory is spread between two major warehouses and a retail network, the challenge was to improve the delivery of items available in the online shop. Additionally, the distribution network needed to be adjusted to fulfill orders from various locations and to optimize shipping costs.
The needs of the client to connect to multiple warehouses and stores and to assign orders to relevant distributors matched perfectly with the capabilities of Keros‘ Order Management System K-OMS. After only a short learning period, Cisalfa’s e-commerce team was able to control all orders and inventories from one interface, whilst the retail team fulfills the orders, allocates returns and serves the customer in store.
Keros’ Order Management System manages merchandise across multiple locations and assigns orders to distributors according to pre-defined rules. In addition, the system was adapted to the individual needs and peculiarities of the client’s business, reducing the impact on the existing processes. Apart from the technological implementation, we provided the client with the necessary project management and knowledge to quickly control the e-commerce platform via the backend.
