Cisalfa Sport SpA is an Italian multi-brand retailer for sports equipment and apparel. It has a network of more than 150 retail stores, including exclusive superstores in Rome and Milan.
Until 2017, Cisalfa Sport operated primarily through its retail network, although it also had a relatively small e-commerce store operated by an external agency. In 2017, sensing the potential of digital sales, Cisalfa Sport decided to re-take control of its e-commerce store. Cisalfa Sport selected Salesforce Commerce Cloud and K-OMS for order management across all retail and digital channels.

The Keros team developed a flexible order orchestration module matching the company’s business rules. The team also performed the integration between multiple warehouses and stores using K-OMS’ standard APIs and defined system rules to assign orders to relevant distributors. The K-OMS implementation took approximately 3 months, and the new Cisalfa Sport e-commerce store was launched in October 2017.
The company saw immediate benefits from the Keros solution. Shipments were automatically optimized and routed based on shipping weight, resulting in lower shipment costs. Inventory information, which was earlier fragmented across retail shops and warehouses, now became centralized and available for all channels, allowing for better utilization of stock.
Today, Cisalfa Sport’s e-commerce sales continue to grow and are now 15 times higher than they were in 2017. K-OMS’ intelligent order orchestration optimizes shipping costs and inventory through the centrally-linked inventory management system. All orders and returns, regardless of channel, are visible and manageable through the K-OMS dashboard. K-OMS is directly integrated with Cisalfa Sport’s internal ERP and CRM systems, allowing other departments in the company to get better visibility of customer profiles and sales data.
